DOFF Steam Cleaning
A superheated water system, DOFF is a stone steam cleaner that effectively removes paint, organic matter, dirt and grime without damaging the surface.
About Doff Steam Cleaning
The DOFF System is unique in achieving a 150 degree temperature at the nozzle end – making it a 'superheated water system'. Designed and developed to effectively remove dirt and grime without causing harm or shock to the substrate.
Whilst the temperature in the system is high, the pressure on the surface being cleaned is very gentle and the volume of water is low. The surface is therefore not saturated and will be dry within minutes.
This means there's then no need to use a chemical biocide during the removal process or as a protection against further biological activity.
What Can DOFF Cleaning Be Used For?
DOFF cleaning is a versatile and effective method of restoring and renovating property exteriors. It has a wide range of applications, including paint and graffiti removal, algae cleaning and stain removal. It can be used on both domestic and commercial properties and, when the correct equipment and training are utilised, can be used at height.
Paint Removal
The Doff Steam Cleaning system can effectively remove most external oil and water-based paints, varnishes, bitumastic and thermoplastics coatings without causing shock or damage to the substrate.
Carbon Stain Cleaning
A build-up of carbon monoxide settles into the surface of the substrate, eating away at the stone and altering the physical appearance, which once removed, allows the restored stonework to have an ‘as new’ and fresh look.
Graffiti Removal
The Doff Steam Cleaning system is a very efficient way of cleaning graffiti. Graffiti can be removed from all building and structure façades without causing shock or damage to the substrate.
Alage Cleaning
With the use of our systems technology, we are able to effectively and efficiently remove algae from all types of brick, stone or any external surface without the risk of damage to the substrate.
The DOFF is also a useful sterilisation tool for kitchens, toilets, swimming pools, hospitals and factories.
